Lovely holiday home with everything you need. Scrupulously clean and comfortable. Met by the hosts who explained how things worked and also gave advice on getting around Belfast. They also were very accommodating in providing extra pillows for us. The location was ideal, in a quiet street with shops close by for provisions and a regular bus to the city centre runs from the end of the street. The provision of fresh fruit, cereals, croissants, jams, tea. Would definitely recommend staying at Portallo Peace.
Totally recommend this hotel.

This cozy holiday home is located in a quiet street, providing a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The hosts are exceptional, providing helpful tips and making sure everything is perfect for your stay. The kitchen is well-stocked with clean utensils, and the beds are incredibly comfortable with feather duvets. You'll feel at home with the lovely breakfast provided, including fresh fruit and croissants. The owners even go the extra mile by including little touches like slippers.
The location is a bit outside the city center, but the bus runs along the main road, providing easy access to the attractions.

The accommodation had free WiFi, which was clutch for scrolling through Insta and keeping up with our mates. Plus, it was only a short distance from The Waterfront Hall, SSE Arena, and The Belfast Empire Music Hall, so we didn't have to trek far for all the lit events. The vibes were on point!
The only thing we wished was better was if there were more party games or a cool hangout spot at the hotel. It would've been wicked to have a chill space to pre-game before hitting the town.

I absolutely loved the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of Portallo Peace. The decor was tastefully done, with warm colors and comfortable furniture that made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and clean, making it easy for me to navigate around. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with grab bars in the bathrooms and ramps for easy wheelchair access. It was reassuring to know that the hotel was designed with the safety and comfort of seniors in mind.
If I were to suggest one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have a dedicated concierge or staff member available specifically to assist senior guests. While the children working there were helpful and friendly, having someone with specialized knowledge and assistance tailored to the needs of senior guests would have been an added bonus.

This place had sick WiFi, perfect for streaming our fave shows on Netflix after exploring Belfast. It was super close to The Waterfront Hall, SSE Arena, and The Belfast Empire Music Hall – we even walked to some of them! Plus, the owners were cool and gave us all the deets on the city. wicked spot for a young crew like us!
Just wished there was a lit party area or maybe a rooftop hangout spot for chillin' with our mates. Other than that, no complaints – it was an epic stay!

They showed us around the property and even provided useful information on how to work the heating. We were pleasantly surprised to find a well-stocked fridge with milk and orange juice, as well as croissants, teabags, coffee, cereal. the owners were always on hand if we needed anything and even provided an iron and ironing board upon request. the location was convenient, with a bus stop just at the end of the road, making it easy to get into Belfast city center in around 10-15 minutes. our stay was brilliant, and we would definitely book here again.
